Komjath's problem in 3-dimensional Euclidean space.
It will be shown to be consistent with set theory that every set of
reals of size $\aleph_1$ is Lebesgue null, yet there are $\aleph_1$
planes in 3-space whose union is not null. The first talk will concentrate
on set theoretic matters, while the second will deal with the necessary
geometric measure theory.
