OVERVIEW
The workshop takes place at two sites: The Fields Institute in Toronto
and The IRMACS Centre in Vancouver. While participants are welcome
at either site, we anticipate that most participants will choose the
closer or easier site. We will share (by technology of a sophisticated
nature) the core of the lectures though we will have some individual
sessions at each site, primarily because of the three hours time difference.
The lectures which are not shared will be video streamed and archived.
This is obviously somewhat of an experimental format, though the
primary focus is, of course, the content. Technical assistance will
be available at each site, so as to minimize glitches.

Apply to the Program:
All scientific events are open to the mathematical sciences community.
Visitors who are interested in office space or funding are
requested to apply by filling out the application
form. Additional support is available (pending NSF funding)
to support junior US visitors to this program. Fields scientific
programs are devoted to research in the mathematical sciences, and
enhanced graduate and post-doctoral training opportunities. Part
of the mandate of the Institute is to broaden and enlarge the community,
and to encourage the participation of women and members of visible
minority groups in our scientific programs.
