SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES

November 21, 2024

April 9-10, 2011
2nd Montreal-Toronto Workshop in Number Theory

Organizers :
Eyal Z. Goren (McGill University )
Stephen S. Kudla (University of Toronto )

Theme: Workshop on the arithmetic of Hilbert modular varieties

This workshop will be devoted to the arithmetic aspects of Hilbert modular varieites.
The main focus will be on the algebraic cycles on such varieties and their integral models,
Hirzebruch-Zagier cycles, Tate conjectures, and connections with modular forms and special values of L-functions.

Funding for these events is provided by the CRM and Fields Institutes.
