The Introductory Workshop on Calabi-Yau Varieties will prepare graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and general members to a level where they can participate fully in the program activities. The workshop speakers include Charles Doran (Alberta), Mark Gross (San Diego), Klaus Hulek (Hannover), Radu Laza (Stony Brook), Bernd Siebert (Hamburg), Johannes Walcher (McGill), and Noriko Yui (Queen's) among others. Details of the summer school will be posted on the thematic program webpage as they become available. Anyone who is interested in attending the summer school should register online.
