28th Canadian Annual Symposium on Operator Algebras
June 4-8, 2000
The Fields Institute is pleased to host the 28th Canadian Operator Symposium
(COS-2000).
Program
A program for the days of June 7 and 8 is already planned. It will
consist of five speakers at the WMY2000 symposium, The Legacy of John Charles Fields, namely,
Sir Michael Atiyah,
Richard Borcherds,
Alain Connes,
Vaughan Jones, and
Maxim Kontsevich,
together with the following three speakers who have agreed to participate
in a half-day transitional session:
James Arthur,
Nigel Higson,
John McKay,
Adrian Ocneanu.
Abstracts are invited for other talks. If you are interested in giving
a talk, please include this information on the registration form.
