Symposium on Inverse Problems
Description
The symposium takes place as part of the 2003-04 Theme Year in Partial Differential Equations hosted by the Fields Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Toronto, Canada.
The lectures are aimed at a general audience, and aim to present some of the beautiful questions in the mathematical theory of Inverse Problems, the various approaches brought to bear on these questions (microlocal analysis, differential geometry, control theory, Carlemann estimates, scattering theory) and the recent resulting breakthroughs in the field.
Audio and Slides from the symposium are available here.
