Workshop on Multiscale Modeling and its Applications: From Weather and Climate Models to Models of Materials Defects
Overview
This workshop brings together climate scientists and materials scientists to improve multiscale modeling of complex phenomena encompassing extreme ranges of length and time scales and different physical phenomena. This gathering of experts from both the climate modeling and materials modeling communities provides a unique opportunity to enhance the development of ideas coming from different applications, but sharing common mathematical and modeling challenges
