Workshop on Combinatorial Moduli Spaces and Intersection Theory
The most studied moduli spaces in algebraic geometry have deep combinatorial structures. For example, the boundary of the moduli space of curves is indexed by graphs and the torus-fixed points of the Hilbert scheme of points are indexed by partitions. The goal of this workshop is to highlight the interactions between combinatorics and moduli spaces. We hope to attract both researchers working in these areas who are interested in the connections between them, and those interested in some of the individual moduli spaces under consideration who wish to learn new combinatorial techniques.
