Problem sponsors will be drawn mainly from the local Ontario financial industry, and will cover various aspects of the application of mathematics to finance (asset pricing, portfolio management, hedging, risk management, etc.). Details will be posted here as they become available. 

Graduate Student Stipends

Up to 20 graduate students will be offered a CAD$1,000 stipend for participating in this two week workshop. Please note that these engagements are not supposed to supplant current work or stipends. Working on an Industrial Problem Solving Workshop project should be taken on in addition to your existing work. Graduate Students who are invited to participate in the workshop and are selected for a stipend will have to invoice the Fields Institute for their stipend and will have to handle any income tax implications on their own.
