Palette x Fields Accelerated Cybersecurity Training Program
The Palette x Fields Accelerated Cybersecurity Program is designed to help graduates with quantitative degrees and professionals with advanced computing work experience quickly transition into high-demand roles in cybersecurity. Our curriculum is evaluated by industry experts and updated every 2-3 months to ensure participants are prepared to deal with today’s biggest cybersecurity challenges!
The program runs from November 1st - January 14th:
November 1st - January 14th: Online synchronous classes, Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm
- Sessions include intensive virtual instruction, labs focused on cybersecurity, and soft skills training.
- Session topics include: Computer networks, physical and cloud; Cybersecurity fundamentals and Risk management; Policies, laws and ethics; Security protocols and Secure network design; Cryptography theory and practice; Identity and access management; Defensive security; Offensive security; Cybersecurity management.
December 20th - January 7th: Holiday break
January 14th onward: Job-hunt support
Are you eligible?
This Program is competitive; there are only 25-30 spots available so APPLY TODAY — if you qualify for the program, you will be invited to participate in an interview to assess eligibility.
Program participants should be prepared to demonstrate the following:
- The ability to participate in all scheduled classes and activities and commit to learning the material
- Strong quantitative and/or computing background (an advanced degree is a plus)
- A passion for computers
- An interest in transitioning to a career in cybersecurity
- Coding experience or a willingness to learn
- An ability to quickly develop new skills
- A current resident of Canada who plans on pursuing long-term employment in the Greater Toronto Area, Windsor-Essex, or Durham regions
The program fee is $2500 CAD to be paid by November 30th and is heavily subsidized by the Government of Canada. We strongly believe that financial costs should not be a barrier to anyone and offer payment plans for participants that require them.
