The focus of CMPD6 is Mathematical Population Dynamics, encompassing its theoretical and applied aspects. Population dynamics research spans many application areas such as Ecology and Evolution, Epidemiology, Immunology, Cancer, Cell and Molecular Biology and Genetics. The range of mathematical and computational tools involved is also broad, including autonomous and non-autonomous ordinary, partial and delay differential equations, stochastic and discrete models, network models, optimal control theory and machine learning.
