Cyber Connexion (Cohort 7)
The Cyber Connexion Program is designed to help graduates with quantitative degrees and professionals with advanced computing work experience quickly transition into in-demand cybersecurity roles. The curriculum is evaluated by industry experts and updated every 2-3 months to ensure that our participants are prepared to deal with today’s biggest cybersecurity challenges. We connect our participants with fast-growing companies in need of industry-ready cybersecurity talent!

April 3 - July 7, 2023 | Online synchronous part-time classes | Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 6PM - 9PM and Saturdays 9AM - 3PM
- Sessions include: intensive virtual instruction,cybersecurity labs, guest speaker sessions and soft skills training.
- Session topics include: Cybersecurity Fundamentals; Computer Networks; Risk Management; Privacy Laws and Ethics; Cryptography Theory and Practice; Identity and Privileged Access Management (IAM & PAM); Defensive Security; Offensive Security.
Are you eligible?
Program participants should be prepared to demonstrate the following:
- The ability to participate in all scheduled classes and activities and commit to learning the material
- Strong quantitative and/or computing background (an advanced degree is a plus)
- A passion for computers
- Good communication skills (listening, respectfulness, tolerance)
- An interest in transitioning to a career in cybersecurity
- Coding experience or a willingness to learn
- An ability to quickly develop new skills
- A current resident of Canada who plans on pursuing long-term employment in Canada
