The Combinatorial Algebra meets Algebraic Combinatorics (CAAC) conferences have been held annually since 2004. As far as we know, it is the unique activity centered around continually evolving interactions between combinatorial algebra and algebraic combinatorics. By design, these meetings focus on creating a welcoming space for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career researchers to interact with each other and more senior mathematicians. These conferences also provided opportunities for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career researchers to present their work, learn about new research directions in related fields, and establish future collaborations. Important achievements of the previous conferences are (1) creating a supportive community for algebraists, geometers, and combinatorialists from all career stages, (2) numerous collaborations established and strengthened at the CAAC meetings, (3) quality and accessibility of the CAAC presentations which received praise from graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and (4) the interest of the larger international mathematical community
to the CAAC series.
