Fields Institute COVID-19 Updates
Information for the Fields Institute Community
July 30, 2024: The Fields Institute is open. Most activities of the Institute are offered in hybrid format with online access for those who cannot attend in person.
To reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other resporatory viruses, anyone who feels sick should stay home and use the Province of Ontario's Self Assessment Tool to learn what steps to take next.
If this tool advises you to stay home (self-isolate), do not come to the Institute.
Once you meet the criteria for coming out of self isolation (all respiratory symptoms have improved for 24 hours, and nausea & diarrhea have improved for 48 hours), wear a well-fitting mask while in the Institute for ten (10) days from the day your symptoms started.
COVID-19 is still prevalent in the community. Please respect the other visitors and staff of the Institute and abide by these directions.
