Get your camera ready for our 2022 Science Odyssey Photo Challenge!
Can you find all the ways mathematics shows up in nature? Enter our Photo Scavenger Hunt contest for great prizes (and bragging rights!)
For the 2022 Science Odyssey, we thought it would be fun to challenge you to find math in the world all around you.
Starting May 7, we’ll release a series of videos on our Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts. We’ll release four more videos on May 10, May 13, May 17 and May 20, respectively, detailing four specific math challenges.
Your task will then be to find that specific math in the world around you, take a picture of it, and then share it with us on social media.
Here's our first challenge! (MAY 7)
CHALLENGE #2 (MAY 13)
CHALLENGE #3 (MAY 17)
But wait, did we say challenge? We should have said CONTEST!!!
That’s right for every entry (up to 3 per challenge) you’ll be entered in a draw to win some awesome Fields swag.
Contest Rules:
Contest is open to residents of Canada only. You must be 18 years or older to claim the prize. Those under 18 may participate in the contest but must have a parent/guardian sign a release form before we publicly announce their winning and claim their prize.

You can submit up to 3 photos/short videos for each challenge and each photo/video counts as an entry.
