Abstract:
I will describe various translation surfaces of infinite topological type with non-elementary affine automorphism groups. For a family of these examples the affine automorphism group is a free group generated by two parabolic elements. I will also present one example with infinitely generated automorphism group and one example with purely hyperbolic automorphism group.
