Abstract:
In this presentation, we explore the potential bifurcations in a diffusive predator-prey model incorporating discontinuous harvesting. Specifically, we delve into the existence of sliding mode and examine various types of sliding mode bifurcations, including boundary node, grazing, buckling, and crossing bifurcations. To illustrate our findings, we utilize numerical simulations, which showcase how the system can develop diverse spatial patterns based on factors such as the harvesting threshold, cost of fear, and initial conditions. This is a joint work with Drs. Zhao and Zhang.
