We will define stochastic processes on manifolds and focus on Brownian motion on a manifold equipped with a Riemannian metric. How the geometry of the manifold affects the Brownian motion will be discussed. Additionally, if time, we will explore the relationship with the Laplace - Beltrami operator and harmonic functions.
