In Dynamical Sampling a signal that is evolving in time needs to be recovered from insufficient measurements.

The strategy is to try to compensate the sparse samples, sampling the evolving signal at future stages of its evolution.

This simple idea has motivated interesting mathematical questions

related to harmonic analysis, functional analysis, complex analysis, and spectral theory.

In this talk, I will survey some of these relations at an expository level.
