Configurations of points and lines is a classical topic in geometry.

A configuration can be flexible in several different ways, depending on what type of constraints one considers. While it is trivial to find geometric realizations of graphs in terms of frameworks, this is not in general the case for the combinatorial incidence structures behind configurations of points and lines. I will survey selected results in this area and give plenty of examples.
