Abstract:
We study the sequence of the symmetric groups Sn and we ask questions about the asymptotic behavior of a given sequence of representations ρn (where ρn is a representation of Sn). Explicit answers for such questions are usually well-known, however they are not suitable for the asymptotic setup. However, it turns out that free probability provides very nice tools to study such asymptotic questions.
