Abstract:
S. Todorcevic proved that given the presence of large cardinals, selective ultrafilters are precisely ultrafilters P(omega)/FIN-generic over L(R). We generalize this result. We provide a characterization of P(omega)/I-generic ultrafilters over L(R) for an arbitrary F_sigma ideal I.
