Abstract:
With the rapid development of internet, preference aggregation over networks has become an increasingly important field which enables various crowdsourcing experiments on social choice. Here we present a novel perspective to preference aggregation or social choice, based on combinatorial Hodge theory, whose classical theory is a milestone connecting differential geometry and algebraic topology.
