Impact of Secondary Pathway Changes on College Readiness in Math
This presentation will provide a brief synopsis of the curriculum changes that have been implemented provincially as well as those that have been implemented in some school boards. We will also explore the possible impact on the number of students taking college level math courses in secondary schools and their readiness for college level math. What should be the vision for college level math that students are taking given the reality of a de-streamed emphasis in secondary schools?
