Injective Envelopes for Partial Actions on C*-algebras

• Abstract: In the literature, partial actions on C*-algebras are a generalization of group actions — instead of looking at automorphisms, the group parametrizes a family of isomorphisms between ideals. Recently, injective envelopes in various categories have been an important tool in studying properties of dynamical systems. In this talk, we will discuss injectivity for an appropriate category of C*-algebraic partial actions and show the existence of injective envelopes.
