Local well-posedness of nonlinear dispersive equations on modulation spaces

Abstract:
In this talk, we shall present some new time-frequency estimates for certain Fourier multipliers. As an application, we obtain some improved local well-posedness results for certain nonlinear Schr¨odinger equations with Cauchy data in modulation spaces. This is joint work with A. Benyi, K. Gr¨ochenig and L. Rogers.
