Bios:
Alison Macaulay works as Education Officer at the Ministry of Education’s Curriculum, Assessment, and Student Success Policy Branch. Her work focuses on the implementation and review of the mathematics curriculum. Dr. Macaulay is an Ontario teacher and especially passionate about teaching Intermediate students and supporting their transitions from elementary to secondary school settings. Formerly a teacher in the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland Clarington Catholic District School Board (PVNC CDSB), she has worked both as a classroom teacher and Mathematics consultant. Her doctoral research focused on effective practices in Grade 9 Applied Mathematics.
