These two lectures will survey the theory of Nahm's equations and their various hyperkähler moduli spaces, focusing on the case of bounded intervals. In particular, we review Kronheimer's result that the moduli space of solutions to Nahm's equations on a compact interval gives a hyperkähler structure on the cotangent bundle of a complex reductive group, and also discuss Nahm's equations with poles.
