Nonlinear plasmons in graphene

Abstract:
We obtained the dispersion relation of graphene nonlinear plasmons in transverse magnetic and transverse electric regimes. Both nonlinear Kerr response of graphene sheet and surrounding dielectric media to a high-power light source are considered. We found an exact analytical solution of nonlinear Maxwell’s equations for the resulting problem. Nonlinear response of both graphene and Kerr dielectric result in an increase in the blue shift of plasmon dispersion relation.
