Pre- and In- Service Teachers Teaming Up for Programming in the Math Classroom

Abstract:
This joint collaboration between the Niagara Catholic District School Board and Brock University allowed for pre-service and in-service teachers to learn about computational thinking and the
connections to curriculum expectations as well as mathematical content and processes. Teacher teams collaboratively designed and facilitated lessons in Elementary and Secondary classrooms. Following the lessons, the teams reflected on the student thinking and engagement throughout the task.
