I will describe joint work with Nick Proudfoot and Joel Kamnitzer which relates the quantum cohomology of a symplectic resolution and the quantization of the symplectic dual resolution. I will explain what these terms mean, and various possible generalizations.

Bio:

Michael McBreen earned his doctorate from Princeton under the supervision of Andrei Okounkov. He is now a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto. He studies mathematical physics and representation theory.
