Symplectic Lie algebroids include log symplectic manifolds and Poisson manifolds of constant rank. I will describe a symplectic reduction and a (co)isotropic embedding theorem for symplectic Lie algebroids. This is part of a joint project with Yi Lin, Yiannis Loizides, and Yanli Song.
