Relative adjunction inequalities and link concordance invariants from knot Floer homology

Abstract:
I'll discuss joint work with Katherine Raoux which uses knot Floer homology to obtain bounds on the genera of smooth cobordisms between links, properly embedded in smooth 4-dimensional cobordisms between 3-manifolds. We can use these bounds to produce a host of link concordance invariants.
