I will report on recent work on the topic of robust and sparse optimization in the context of energy, specifically in robust intra-day energy management, where we develop a special kind of group norm relaxation for a MILP; and a sparse optimization approach to the modeling of complex energy systems, where the goal is to obtain "optimization-friendly" models.
