In this brief presentation, I will provide an overview of how the integration of social media positively impacted student learning and engagement in a Grade 8 mathematics classroom. In particular, I will share the conceptual framework for the study, the research questions, the research methods, the results, and the significance in terms of how the results contribute to positive social change and close the equity gap in education.
