In this talk, I will discuss some conjectures concerning the stabilization of Betti (and Hodge) numbers of moduli spaces of sheaves on surfaces when the rank and first Chern class are fixed but the discriminant tends to infinity. I will present some evidence and open questions. This is joint work with Matthew Woolf.
