Subspace configurations have applications in areas ranging from quantum information to computer vision. In this talk, different distances between subspaces will be presented, as well as some constructions of both optimally spread subspace configurations and prototypes of sets of subspaces with respect to the different distances. We will also cover some applications of these constructions.
