I will discuss some recent joint projects with Saharon Shelah about the relation between ultraproducts and the continuum hypothesis. In particular, we show that the Keisler's isomorphism theorem implies the continuum hypothesis, and then prove some consistency results in the absence of the continuum hypothesis.
