In this talk, I will compare two different approaches to colored sl(2) link homology: Khovanov's construction from 2003, and Cooper-Krushkal's construction via categorified Jones-Wenzl idempotents. I will prove that, at least for the unknot, these two approaches become equivalent when formulated in a quantized annular setting.
