After defining the size of a parabolic point, I will explain why it is kind of an analogue to the conformal radius of Siegel disks, in the setting of quadratic map with an indifferent fixed point. If time allows, I will explain how parabolic implosion gives information on the fine behavior of conformal radii near a rational rotation number.
