On a conjecture of Voisin on rationally equivalent points on hypersurfaces

Abstract:
C. Voisin proved that no two distinct points are rationally equivalent on a very general surface of degree at least 7 in the projective space and she conjectured that the same holds for very general sextic surfaces as well. I will talk about our recent progress on this conjecture.
