The fourth moment of the Hurwitz zeta function on the critical line

Abstract:
We will report on recent joint work with Winston Heap where we show the order of magnitude of the fourth moment on the critical line of the Hurwitz zeta function with a generic irrational shift parameter. This complements our earlier work on similar moments with rational shift parameter.
Bio: Anurag Sahay earned his PhD from the University of Rochester under the supervision of Steve Gonek in 2023. Since then, he is a Golomb VAP (visiting assistant professor) at Purdue University mentored by Trevor Wooley.
