Abstract: I’ll speak about some recent results (and their extensions in progress) about the geometry of Coulomb branches of 3d N=4 gauge theories, in particular, joint results with Tom Gannon on how restriction to subgroups affects Coulomb branches. In the first half, I’ll give a more general introduction to these Coulomb branches, and focus on more recent results in the second half.
