Abstract:
We will discuss a new diagrammatic representation for quantum information, called holographic software. This software gives a two-way holographic dictionary to translate between the usual algebraic protocols and diagrammatic protocols. We will focus on the latter, commenting on the essential role that aesthetics play in the structure of a protocol. In particular we introduce the multipartite compressed teleportation (CT) protocol, which generalizes many teleportation protocols. Moreover, CT demonstrates a new paradigm for teleportation networks that fundamentally differs from the cooperative networks for bipartite teleporation.
