This talk will be a first in a series of presentations as part of a Working Group on Big Data Methods in Imaging and Inverse Problems. It will be an introduction to Graph Laplacians and Diffusion maps. We will also give a brief intorduction to the mathematical modeling of cryo-epectron microscopy.
