Nowadays, we are in the sea of various sensors that make the Internet of Things (IoTs) a major source of big data. This report will present a distributed optimization framework for sustainable IoT data acquisition with dynamic in-network data processing, based on the Lyapunov network optimization theory. Industrial IoT applications and potential extensions to Apache Storm, a representative stream processing system, will also be discussed.
