Quasi-parameterization of globally subanalytic sets

Abstract:
I discuss a mild (complex analytic) parameterization result for $\mathbb{R}_{an}$-definable (i.e. globally subanalytic) sets that is uniform for definable families. I shall then mention some diophantine consequences. This is joint work with Raf Cluckers and Jonathan Pila.
