Manifolds with vanishing L2 cohomology and various fundamental groups

Abstract:
We will survey work on characterization, invariants, classifications and cobordism theories of closed manifolds whose L2 cohomology of their covering spaces vanishes. The resulting cobordism theories are usually infinitely generated and we discuss some computations.
