Workshop on Recent Applications of Model Theory
Description
Applied model theory is currently experiencing a golden age. The past decade has seen fundamental contributions to a broad range of topics in algebra, geometry, number theory, combinatorics, and analysis. This workshop will focus on applications of model theory to the following areas:
1. Arithmetic Geometry.
2. Additive Combinatorics.
3. Algebraic Dynamics.
4. Valued fields.
5. Differential Algebra.
It is our hope that bringing together experts in these various applications of model theory will be mutually beneficial and lead to new insight into some of the more difficult problems.
Note: The conference will start at 10am Monday and finish at 3:30pm Friday.
