Abstract:
Heintze showed that all negatively curved homogeneous spaces can be represented by a semi direct product of a nilpotent Lie group with the reals where the action is by an expanding homomorphism. We will survey what is known about the quasi-isometries of these spaces. Since they are negatively curved most of this information is deduced from studying their boundary metrics.
